Amy Weddell is a distinguished educator and linguist with a deep passion for the French language and culture. With a BA International in Modern Languages and a 1:1 in her Master of Education (M.Ed.), Amy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her classroom.
Amy’s career is marked by a strong connection to both the academic and practical aspects of language education. She has lived in France and Germany, gaining firsthand experience and cultural insights that enrich her teaching. This international perspective allows her to offer her students a comprehensive understanding of the languages she teaches.
As a State Examiner, Amy plays a critical role in the assessment and evaluation of students at the national level. She is also the author of Revise Wise: Higher Level French, a widely respected resource that has helped countless students excel in their studies. Her contributions extend to journalism, where she has written insightful articles for the Irish Times, sharing her expertise and perspectives on language education.
