Alison Cosgrave is an experienced and highly respected Politics and Society teacher with a deep passion for the subject. She has been teaching Politics and Society since its introduction in 2016, currently working in one of the original pilot schools for the course. Alison is the co-author of the widely used textbook Politics and Society Now! and is also an SEC examiner for the subject, giving her invaluable insight into the marking process and what examiners are looking for. She holds a Joint BA in History and Politics from University College Dublin and a First Class Honours Professional Master of Education, also from UCD. Alison’s teaching is engaging, exam-focused and rooted in real-world examples, helping students to develop critical thinking skills and achieve their full potential.
