Caoimhe Ní Mhuircheartaigh

Caoimhe Ní Mhuircheartaigh is a Biology and Chemistry teacher who holds a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Cell Biology from Dublin City University, and a Professional Master of Education from Maynooth University. She now teaches Leaving Cert Biology and Chemistry with Grinds360.

Caoimhe is the author of the Leaving Cert Revise Biology and Chemistry books — exam-focused revision guides built around visual aids and past exam questions — and reaches students far beyond any one classroom as @ms.m.biochem, breaking down the hardest topics on both courses for a national audience.

Away from teaching, Caoimhe has appeared on RTÉ Radio 1's Ray D'Arcy Show discussing digital teaching tools, and on Ireland AM. She has partnered with ESB Networks on their Weather Watch school roadshows, and was featured as a STEM creator alongside the Stripe Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition. Her teaching is engaging, exam-focused and built on the same principle as her books: strip a hard topic back to what the marking scheme actually rewards, then make it stick.
